This year marks a huge milestone for us at JCM Industries…. we’re celebrating our 50th anniversary! From humble beginnings around a breakfast table in Nash, Texas in 1976 to now being recognized as an industry leader in pipe fittings and fabrications, this anniversary isn’t just a number. It’s a testament to five decades of dedication, innovation, and partnership with customers across the globe.

JCM Industries was founded by James C. Morriss, Jr., who brought his vision for quality pipe fittings into reality with the support of his wife Gladys and, soon after, other family members. What started as a small, family-driven business has grown into a reputable manufacturer known throughout the water, wastewater, and industrial piping sectors.

 

From day one, our guiding principles have been simple:

  • This commitment has shaped our culture and continues to set the benchmark in our industry today.

Over the last five decades, we’ve hit many milestones, innovated boldly, and solved some of the most challenging pipeline problems. Some of our most impactful accomplishments include:

  • We didn’t just make pipe fittings — we transformed how they’re delivered. By refining fabrication and just-in- time manufacturing methods, we helped shift industry expectations around lead times and responsiveness. We built a reputation for delivering custom and urgent solutions faster than the standard industry cycle.

 

• Breaking Records with Major Projects
  • Throughout our history, JCM has played a critical role in some record-setting and highly visible applications:
• Largest size-on-size fabricated tapping sleeves at 60″ x 60″ (Milwaukee, WI – 1983)
• Custom solutions for massive pipelines like the Hoover Dam diversion and O’Hare Airport relocation jobs
• Engineered fittings for large diameter and high-pressure pipelines in cities across the United States

 

• Making an Impact Around the World
  • Our products have supported infrastructure and utility projects not just in Texas, but across the U.S. and internationally — from major cities to remote installations. Installations range from:
